Project Update: ACG Frankton Early Learning Center
Project update: Works are progressing well onsite, with approximately 70% of the ACG Frankton Early Learning Center playground project now complete.
Fresh line markings and directional arrows, inspired by nearby Queenstown Airport, introduce a playful aviation theme that connects the space to its local surroundings. A thoughtfully designed water-themed surfacing area complements the existing boat feature onsite, creating a cohesive environment that encourages imaginative, open-ended play.
The stats:
- 45mm poured rubber shockpad: completed 140 m² of 181 m²
- 30mm poured rubber shockpad: completed 86 m² of 120 m²
- 20mm poured rubber shockpad: completed 23 m² of 41 m²
- Pour N Play surfacing: completed 140 m² of 181 m²
- Turf: completed 86 m² of 120 m²
- Rubber mulch surfacing: completed 23 m² of 41 m²
Second stage will be underway first thing in the new year, with new eucalyptus fencing and surfacing to complete the project.
