Project Update: Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. All on Track.
Three active sites, three different clients, one consistent approach. Here is a snapshot of where things are at across Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch this week.
Clayton Park School, Auckland [85% Completed]
The finishing line is in sight at Clayton Park School. Pour’N’Play surfacing is the final piece bringing this project together, with the shockpad already down and the top layer placement carefully marked out and ready.
The Stats:
- 102m² of 45mm poured rubber shockpad laid
- Half Pour’N’Play balls and 2D shapes set out and ready for gluing
- Top layer Pour’N’Play placement markings completed
Duncan Park, Wellington City Council [30% Completed]
Groundwork is well underway at Duncan Park for Wellington City Council. The site is established, equipment is on the ground, and the team is moving through a significant excavation and edging scope before surfacing begins.
The Stats:
- Site established and security fencing erected
- Playground equipment delivered onsite
- 517m² of existing surfacing excavated
- 91m of mowing strip edging installed
- Compacted basecourse installation underway
Christchurch Airport [75% Completed]
The Christchurch Airport playspace is in its final stage, with the bespoke C-17 plane landmark installed and the Pour’N’Play top layer going down now. A standout space almost ready to open.

- Sensory wall installed
- Mound with slide and tunnel installed
- 5 Pour’N’Play rubber rocks installed
- 2D Pour’N’Play shapes installed
- 100m2 of poured rubber shockpad laid
In progress: 100m2 Pour’N’Play top layer in various colour mixes being installed.
