Project Update: Raumati South School Outdoor Learning Space
Project update: The transformation is well underway at Raumati South School. When the school first came to us, the brief was clear. They wanted a calm, natural space where tamariki aged five to ten could relax and connect, and where parents could gather at the end of the day. In short, a quiet heart for the school grounds, built to look great for years to come.
That vision is now taking shape on the ground. At the centre sits a Kāpiti Island mound, a sculpted landform that roots the space in its place and gives children a natural feature to climb, explore, and play around. Around it, flowing Pour’N’Play surfacing, stepping logs, and sculpted rocks bring the gentle humps and bumps the school was after, with longevity and low maintenance built in from the start.
